William E. Hecht has served Alliance Bank in various capacities for 39 years.
He served as the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 2005 and is currently an independent director
and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Hecht was educated at Upsala College, the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago,
and the Widener University School of Law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and since his retirement from
management of the Bank he has devoted extensive time to preaching and teaching on a variety of biblical subjects
as well as first amendment religious issues.
Mr. Hecht resides in Chester County with his wife Nancee, a certified public accountant. They have two children
and four grandchildren. Mr. Hecht’s principal outside interests comprise reading mystery novels and history,
listening to classical music, and attempting to play golf.
