William E. Hecht has served Alliance Bank in various executive positions for over 33 years.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Hecht graduated from Upsala College
with a B.A. in History and received his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law. In April 2005,
Mr. Hecht retired from active management of the Bank to devote more time to ministry opportunities.
He is presently engaged in a lay ministry training program through Concordia College in Bronxville, NY.
Under his Leadership the Bank has grown from a tradtiional thrift institution to a full service community
Bank, offering both consumer and business banking through its nine convenient locations. Mr. Hecht
has also guided the development of the Bank to include "Sit Down Banking". Alliance Bank now offers
this innovative service at four of its branches.
Mr. Hecht is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar. He is also a member and past president of
Insured Financial Institutions of the Delaware Valley. His outside interests include the
international men's ministry Promise Keepers, classical music, theatre, and golf.
