Dennis D. Cirucci has over 38 years of financial institution experience. He
currently serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Alliance Bancorp
of Pennsylvania, Alliance Bank and Alliance Mutual Holdings, Inc. Since joining
Alliance Bank in 1983, Mr. Cirucci has served in various positions including Executive
Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. He was the banks workout
specialist during the S&L crisis. Mr. Cirucci led the Bank’s initial public offering
in 1995; the follow-on offering in 2007 and the final conversion which is currently
under way, from a Mutual Holding company structure to a fully public company expected
to be completed in early 2011.
Prior to joining Alliance Bank, Mr. Cirucci worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he
was a national industry specialist on financial institutions. During his thirteen year
career in public accounting Mr. Cirucci performed audits, management advisory services,
mergers and acquisitions, and income tax preparation for more than fifty-five financial
institutions.
Mr. Cirucci is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in the state of
Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Cirucci is a graduate
of Drexel University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Mr. Cirucci is the currently Treasurer of Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers
in Harrisburg, PA and Past President of the Insured Financial Institutions of the
Delaware Valley 2008-2009. He is also a member of the Financial Managers Society (FMS)
of which he was President of the Philadelphia Chapter in 1990 –1991 and the Chairman of
the National Regulations Committee in 1991 and 1992. While serving FMS he presided over
the annual regulatory roundtable meetings in Washington with chief accountants from the
FDIC, OCC and OTS among others. He also served for several years on the annual meeting
planning committee to plan educational workshops and engage national speakers.
Mr. Cirucci is active in his parish community and was 2009-2010 Chairman of the Heritage
of Faith Campaign for St. Dorothy parish. Together with his committee of volunteers,
over One Million dollars was raised for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and St. Dorothy
Parish.
As CEO of Alliance Bank, Mr. Cirucci is also involved in supporting or participating in
numerous community service events throughout the year with the officers and employees of
the Bank. Such events include the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Heat for
the Holidays, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, March of Dimes and the Delco Run for Heroes,
just to name a few.
